1. Safety Precautions

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

  • Installation should be performed by qualified personnel only
  • Risk of electric shock – disconnect all power sources before installation
  • This device interfaces with mains voltage – ensure proper isolation
  • Follow all local electrical codes and regulations
  • Ensure proper grounding according to local regulations
  • Protect the device from moisture and extreme temperatures
  • Verify compatibility with your LED lighting system before installation

3. Mounting Instructions

3.1 Location Selection

  • Install in a dry, indoor location
  • Ensure adequate ventilation
  • Avoid exposure to direct sunlight
  • Keep away from heat sources
  • Allow minimum 50mm clearance on all sides
  • Mount in electrical enclosure when interfacing with mains voltage
  • Install near the LED driver for optimal performance

3.2 Mounting Options

  1. DIN Rail Mounting:
    • Clip the upper DIN rail groove onto the rail
    • Press the lower part until it snaps into place
    • Verify secure mounting

  2. Surface Mounting:
    • Use the four mounting holes
    • Mark hole positions using the device as template
    • Use appropriate screws for the mounting surface
    • Ensure proper clearance for ventilation

4. Wiring Instructions

  • Isolate mains power before connection.
  • Connect all neutrals together.
  • Connect all grounds together.
  • Connect ULDC-T’s load output to Fixture’s Line input.
  • Connect Line to ULDC-T’s line input.

5. Configuration and Setup

5.1 Initial Power-Up

  • Verify all connections
  • Apply power to the unit
  • Check status LED indicators:
    • Power LED solid
    • Status LED blinking indicates normal operation

5.2 Network Configuration

  • Wireless Setup for mobile app:
    • Enable Bluetooth on your mobile device
    • Follow in-app instructions for device pairing
    • Configure Wi-Fi parameters as needed
    • Verify connection status via LED indicator

  • Use CRIB Wall Unit
    •  Follow instructions on Wall Unit Application.

6. Troubleshooting

6.1 Common Issues

  • Dimming Issues:
    • Check load output connection
    • Confirm LED driver compatibility

  • Communication Issues:
    • Check wireless signal strength
    • Verify network settings
    • Check device status via LEDs

  • Power Issues:
    • Verify input voltage
    • Confirm proper grounding
    • Check for loose connections

7. Maintenance

  • Regular inspection of connections
  • Clean cooling vents if present
  • Check mounting security periodically
  • Update firmware when available
  • Document any system changes
  • Verify proper operation after maintenance
